on 06/29/2007 I've been at both Koi's, in New York and Los Angeles, and can say that the food is the same from my experience. It's delicious and highly recommended. The bill is on the higher side, but well worth it for a special night or if you want treat yourself to great Asian cuisine. The spicy tuna with crispy white rice is the best!

on 06/29/2007 THE best Japanese food around. I would eat here every day if I could. If you like basic sushi, nothing fancy, you won’t like Koi. Everything is very gourmet, very unusual. The baked lobster role is amazing. Everything on the menu sounds delicious and tastes even better. The menu is meant for ordering a lot of dishes (they are all small) and sharing them. The atmosphere is very LA and the décor is very airy and inspired by the koi fish. Great service. Expensive. Nice variety on the sake list.
